Wow, there is more foolishness and immaturity there than I expected. I have hope though, since foolishness and immaturity tend to be short lived.

Having read some of the nasty, malicious, hateful tweets on the #askpontifex hashtag, it is patently obvious that this world is desperately in need of God’s love. You are right, the Gospel message needs to be proclaimed to everyone to the ends of the earth and beyond, into the digital realm. God bless everyone witnessing to the truth of the gospel on social media sites and long may they continue!

You should just start calling this blog “Perspective” or something (but not that because that’s a lame name. We have a new baby, and I haven’t had enough sleep to come up with something creative) because you always provide some much need perspective on things like these.
